Bring Your Cracker!
Have you heard the Stone Soup Fable? It’s similar to the story of the boy with five loaves and two fishes found in the New Testament (John’s account mentions him), in which Jesus feeds 5,000 men with one kid’s lunch. These two stories illustrate how we can produce a great soup with a tiny contribution, or a miracle with our sack lunch, if we’re willing to give up the little that we have.
At E3, you’ll often hear the phrase “bring your cracker”. The idea that no matter how little we have, if we are willing to give, God can use our small contribution to create a large blessing! Whether you have a talent, an idea, a resource or just extra time, when we all bring what we have, God’s plan will be revealed and fulfilled.
We invite you to contact us about opportunities to serve at E3!
First Impressions Team members are the smiling faces of E3 Scottsdale. They ensure that you find a parking spot, are greeted with a smile, make sure you have delicious refreshments and treats, and assist you in locating a seat in the auditorium. If you might be interested in being part of this team, or learning more about it, contact Chanté Fox.
Children’s Team members rock babies in the Nursery, or teach lessons to children (birth – grade 6), all while enjoying the fun of a fast-paced teaching and learning environment. If you have a heart for kids and might be interested in being part of this team, contact Noelle Larson.
Production Team members like to work with computers, video, sound and lighting equipment. They work each Sunday to ensure a high quality worship experience from a technical standpoint. If you have experience in any of these areas and would enjoy being part of this team, or might be interested in learning more, contact Martin Leeuwner.
Worship Team members share their talents and strive to create an atmosphere of praise and worship with music that is authentic and from the heart. If you can sing or play an instrument, contact Matt Vosburgh to schedule an audition.
Life Group Leaders are people who love people and whose desire is to influence others in their journey. If you would like more information on becoming a Life Group leader, contact Matthias & Melissa Linke.
